Lara, an ethically conflicted and emotionally troubled student, drops out of Oxford to become homeless. She severs her ties with her life as a student and forms a toxic relationship with a violent, but fundamentally kind homeless person Ivan.  Despite her sister's attempts to bring her back, Lara's urge to self-destruct fuels her relationship to Ivan and leaves her as damaged goods when she comes home two years later.

Ada is a concert violinist. She is suffering from a stroke and has memory loss. She doesn’t understand what people say to her. Robin is a young estate agent dissatisfied with his job. He volunteers to visit Ada. One evening he stumbles in drunk and throws up. He starts to choke on his own vomit and Ada is forced to help him – the audience finds out that Ada is in fact in full health. After this they form a strong relationship and set about improving their lives together.  

RECORDS is my second play. It is a relationships play that deals with how people ignore things they find too strong to appraoch.
